I launched Southern Hospitality at Home: The Art of Gracious Living in my beloved hometown of Charleston last week with a party at Mrs. Whaley’s Garden . . . the most magical of all Charleston’s walled gardens. I’ve heard it was a wonderful party, although I never left my signing table. What I do know is that Southern peach punch was imbibed by a gathering of Charleston’s most delightful design-minded people amid the foliage of fall flowers beneath a rising full moon. Sadly, the garden wasn’t large enough to accommodate all whom I’d hoped could attend, so I promise another party soon, equally delightful but in a different way. Just as this party was charming and gardenesque, the next one will be sophisticated and urbane. Stay tuned for details. Come to get your signed copy. And if you can’t come, you can click here to order a book. Get in touch and I’ll sign it for you!
