I’ve been busy doing what I love, and what I hope YOU do, too

None of us want to even hear the word COVID again, but there’s no denying that it has shaped our lives. Fortunately for me, the lock-down period came just as I began shooting my new book, The Allure of Charleston, making it possible to photograph street scenes and exteriors of famous historic buildings with no cars in sight. There’s always a silver lining. I was also able to move with my camera through the rooms of historic house museums, usually filled with admirers, and compose pictures for the book. I took advantage of the enforced downtime to quarantine myself in my office and write my new book. Apologies for going completely dark on social media. It’s hard to explain the ways we coped . . . or didn’t. Now, I’m done with the book and can’t wait to share the bound volume with you in April 2022. In the meantime, I’ll offer sneak previews on Instagram and my blog. I hope you’ll enjoy them!
